Product Description

Copper Tungsten Alloys are tungsten based composite materials that are a strong refractory metal processed by a stringently controlled process including pressing, sintering and infiltrating with copper. The properties of tungsten composites are related to the copper to tungsten ratio.  If the tungsten content improves, the electric arc and wear resistance will increase while the thermal and electrical conductivity decreases.  Copper tungsten composites have high arc resistance combined with good electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion.
