A tungsten alloy collimator is a device that reduces particle beams or light waves. Reduction means that the particle rays are directed in a specific direction, allowing only rays parallel to the collimator to pass through, or a device that narrows the spatial cross-section beam to limit the amount of rays.
Tungsten alloy collimator is a component of the radiation head of medical accelerators.
