Xian Kefeng Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd, main produce high density tungsten alloy products, below is our tungsten alloy radiation detector product.
High density tungsten alloys can be used as instruments for radiation detection of combustible gases:
High density tungsten alloy material is a sensor, device, or material used as a radiation detector to observe and study the microscopic phenomena of nuclear radiation rays and particles. Its radiation shielding material is tungsten alloy.
The radiation detector working principle of a high density tungsten alloy is the interaction between particles and matter. When a particle passes through a substance, it absorbs some or all of its energy and produces ionization or excitation. If it is X-rays or Y-rays, some intermediate processes are first passed through to produce photoelectric effects, Compton effects, or electron pairs. Transfer some or all of the energy to the orbital electrons of matter, and then generate ionization or excitation.
This product has special value, compared to traditional radiation shielding materials, tungsten alloys provide excellent value. A high-density alloy can provide the same energy absorption as lead using 1/3 less material! Unlike lead, you'll also reduce administration costs by eliminating the need to obtain special licensing-it's not required.
Our products are available as finished machining parts or as short rod, round bar, rectangular blocks and other shapes per your requirements and drawings.
