Its Mechanical properties are of tensile strength, ductility and hardness plus other elemental metals, create a family of tungsten alloy materials that have found wide acceptance where a concentrated mass is required in a limited space. Tungsten alloys guarantee the strength and stability needed for the tough oil and gas drilling process. Tungsten alloys are economically fabricated by powder metallurgy techniques and routinely machined by conventional methods. So it can be delivered both as a semi finished product for further processing by the customer or in accordance with the customer's drawing as a finished machined part.Tungsten alloy radiation shields are made to only allow radiation to go where it is actually needed. Our tungsten radiation shields guarantee that environmental radiation exposure is kept to an absolute minimum during the generation of X-ray radiation. A particularly dense material with excellent shielding properties is needed to ensure that the surrounding tissue is protected and the radiation guided only to the intended locations where those are widely used in Medical and Industrial Radiation Shielding.
There is no licensing required for tungsten alloy materials. Tungsten alloys are stable at high temperatures. You can use one-third less material than lead for the same energy-absorbing effectiveness and also it is non-toxic. You can use our high density tungsten alloys for shielding wherever radioactivity has to be controlled and directed.
