This is Xi'an Kefeng Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd, a manufacturer, high density tungsten alloy products are our main products.
Our Tungsten alloys provide excellent value. A high-density alloy can provide the same energy absorption as lead using 1/3 less material! Unlike lead, you'll also reduce administration costs by eliminating the need to obtain special licensing-it's not required. Our products are available as finished machining parts or as short rod, round bar, rectangular blocks and other shapes per your requirements and drawings.
The application of tungsten alloys in the aviation industry
Application of Tungsten alloy products:
A) Aviation counterweight blocks. Tungsten alloy is an ideal material for aviation counterweights. It has a high density, high tensile strength and hardness, high specific gravity, and can significantly increase the sensitivity of spacecraft control mechanisms, while ensuring good balance during high-speed flight.
B) Tungsten alloy can be used as insulation material for engines. Tungsten alloy has excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and strength and toughness. The temperature of aircraft engines can reach over 2000 degrees, and only titanium tungsten molybdenum alloy can withstand such high temperatures.
C) Tungsten alloy can be used as the rotor material for gyroscopes. The use of tungsten alloy in the gyroscope rotor can ensure its extended service life in high-speed rotating environments, because tungsten alloy can achieve extremely high accuracy through sintering process, and it also has properties such as wear resistance and high temperature resistance.
D) Tungsten alloy can be used as aircraft brake pads. The high temperature generated during the braking process of an aircraft is sufficient to cause other metals to melt and deform, but tungsten alloy materials still maintain good strength due to their high temperature resistance, meeting the special requirements of high temperature and high pressure generated during aircraft braking.
E) Tungsten alloy can be used as a shock absorber. Tungsten alloy shock absorbers improve the environmental conditions of onboard equipment and enhance the reliability, safety, and service life of the equipment by implementing vibration reduction installation on the engine.
F) Riding the east wind of the aviation industry, the demand for tungsten alloys has surged and experienced a significant growth. However, as a typical refractory metal material, tungsten's excellent performance is precisely the pain point that makes it difficult to process, leading to defects such as deformation, cracks, and sandwich in the processed product.
